Getting Started
You can book directly through our Headway portal online — no phone call required. Simply click "Book Now" on any page, select a time that works for you, and complete the brief intake form. Most patients are seen within 48 hours of booking.
Your first visit is a comprehensive intake appointment. Michelle will take time to understand your full history, current concerns, and treatment goals. The visit is conducted via secure video. Afterward, you'll receive a personalized care plan and, if applicable, prescriptions sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.
Initial intake appointments are typically 60 minutes. Follow-up medication management visits are usually 20–30 minutes. The length may vary based on your individual needs and the complexity of your care plan.
Yes. Michelle works with both adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions. If you're seeking care for a younger family member, please reach out to discuss whether telehealth is the right fit for their needs.
Insurance & Fees
We accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Humana, Medicare, and Tricare. You can verify your specific coverage directly through the Headway booking portal before your first appointment — at no cost to you.
Yes. Self-pay options are available at $100–$150 per visit for patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay privately. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Insurance billing is handled through Headway after your visit. For self-pay patients, payment is collected at the time of service. We verify your insurance benefits before your first appointment so there are no unexpected charges.
Telehealth & Privacy
Absolutely. All virtual visits are conducted through HIPAA-compliant platforms. Your health information is kept strictly confidential in accordance with federal privacy regulations. You can attend your appointment from any private, comfortable location.
Michelle is currently licensed to practice in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and Washington. All psychiatric and mental health visits are conducted via telehealth — no in-person visit required. DOT physical examinations are available in Central Florida only.
Any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone works. You'll receive a secure video link before your appointment. A stable internet connection and a private, quiet space are all you need.
Medication & Treatment
Yes. As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Michelle provides medication management as part of a comprehensive, collaborative care plan. All treatment decisions are made together with you, based on your individual needs, history, and goals.
No referral is required. You can book directly through the Headway portal. However, if your insurance requires a referral for mental health services, please check with your insurer before booking.
Yes. If you're currently on medication managed by another provider, Michelle will review your current regimen during your intake appointment and can continue, adjust, or modify your prescriptions as clinically appropriate.
DOT Physical Exams
DOT physical examinations are available in Central Florida only. Michelle is a mobile examiner — she comes to you, whether that's your home, workplace, or trucking yard. Pricing starts at $150 and varies by distance.
Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID, your CDL or driver's license, a list of any current medications, eyeglasses or hearing aids if applicable, and any relevant medical records (especially for conditions like diabetes, sleep apnea, or heart conditions).
A standard DOT physical examination takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Your CDL medical certificate is issued the same day upon passing the exam.
